Clean The Library Wiki Overview

This Clean The Library wiki is the reference database for the cooperative sorting game by Retro Library. Whether you searched clean the library wiki or need a shelf code mid-session, use the sections below for zones, magic abilities, controls, badges, and core mechanics.

Clean The Library spans two floors and sixteen labeled sections (1A–1J downstairs, 2A–2F upstairs). Thousands of books scatter across the map — each volume carries a category tag that maps to one section code. Correct rows glow blue and award stat points toward magic upgrades.

Wiki pages list facts; guide pages teach methods. Start with the beginner guide if you are new, then keep this wiki open on a second screen while sorting.

Book Categories and Series Rules

Every book in Clean The Library belongs to a category theme printed on the spine — Horror, Simulations, Brainrot, Rules & Moderation, and similar. Categories map one-to-one to section codes on the floor map.

Within a category, series group identical titles on the same shelf row. Volumes sit left to right in order 1, 2, 3, and so on. Mixing series or skipping a number prevents the blue glow even when slots look full.

Bright-cover books (green, white, yellow, vivid anime art) are easiest to find early. Dark Horror and Military spines dominate late-game audits — see the find books guide for color routing.

The Clean The Library wiki book list is organized by category theme, not alphabetically by title. When players search for a specific book name, read the spine tag first, map it to a section code below, then use volume numbers for series placement. Phase 2 of this site may add per-title database pages; Phase 1 keeps all reference data on this single wiki to avoid thin content.

  • Category tag → section code (e.g. Rules & Moderation → 1F).
  • Same series → same row within that section.
  • Volume order 1→2→3 mandatory for row completion.
  • Dropped floor books save progress (June 2026 update).

Badges

Roblox profile badges with community completion rates.

Roblox profile badges track Clean The Library milestones from first entry through full library restoration. Win rates below come from community aggregated stats (June 2026) — only about 8–9% of players earn the final Clean The Library! badge.

Timed badges (1 Hour, 2 Hours, 3 Hours) reward speed clears. No Magic Needed! [Pro Mode] requires completing without leaning on major magic upgrades — the rarest entry at 0% community win rate.

Mechanics

Keys, book save, co-op, and leaderboard rules.

Core mechanics separate the Roblox Clean The Library from the Steam Arcane Library original. Roblox adds stat-point magic, co-op servers up to twelve players, leaderboard speedruns, and collectible keys for permanent jump, carry, and sprint buffs.

Keys spawn in library wings — hunt carry keys before long floor-two pushes. Co-op splits floors or color zones; progress is shared. Leaderboard ranks fastest full clears. Books on the floor persist after disconnect (June 2026).

If completion stalls at 99%, the issue is almost always a dark shelf row — not a deleted book. Use the missing book guide decision tree before assuming the game lost a volume. Full restoration unlocks the Clean The Library! badge tracked in the badges table below.

  • Blue glow = correct shelf row → stat points.
  • Physical keys = permanent movement buffs.
  • Co-op = shared completion, role split recommended.
  • Leaderboard = fastest 100% time, not partial progress.
  • Steam-inspired layout — verify codes on Roblox map only.
